Former ARCH ENEMY Frontman To Guest On New OCEANS OF SADNESS Album

February 22, 2008

Vocalist Tijs Vanneste of Belgian progressive metallers OCEANS OF SADNESS has issued the following update:

"We're extremely proud to announce that the one and only Johan Liiva (formerly of ARCH ENEMY, HEARSE, KDF) will be doing guest vocals on the song 'In The End' from the upcoming fifth album by OCEANS OF SADNESS, 'The Arrogance Of Ignorance'. We think that Johan has one of the most characteristic voices in metal music EVER and we all worship the work he's already done (the 'Burning Bridges' album of ARCH ENEMY was a big influence for us all)!

"So to sum it all up: The album will be produced by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street in Örebro, Sweden during March and April 2008. The album will be titled 'The Arrogance Of Ignorance' and will contain 10 tracks. The CD will include] guest appearances by Annlouice Loegdlund (DIABLO SWING ORCHESTRA) on the song 'Subconscious' and Johan Liiva on the song 'In The End'. Artwork will be created by the Greek artist Seth Siro Anton. The band aims for a worldwide release this upcoming fall 2008."
